These are some of the most frequent questions we get asked. We do much more than just build customized WordPress websites. We create the engaging content that takes it to the next level. If you have a particular question, please email us here, and we'll respond at a fairly high rate of speed.
Answer: Absolutely! We do this on a daily basis. Many clients have media, audio and video, that they would like to "re-purpose," in order to save time and money. They might just need the first fifteen to thirty seconds for a trailer or special promotion. We'll make the edits and then produce three file formats so you can instantly get your important and engaging media content out there.
Answer: Yes, years ago, we noticed that a LOT of companies were putting their businesses up on the web. And, unfortunately were not paying attention to the details of what is "perceived to be professional," by the end users. Namely the resolution of their images, but more often, it was spelling and grammar.
And much of that was grammar and spelling related was more prevalent from companies outside the US. So we decided to reach out to some of them, and make a go of re-working / tweaking the textual and grammatical part of the content. This makes a HUGE difference in how one "looks at," a company or perceives an individual business. I actually helped "re-write," the tech help manual for a company called Jam Origin. They specialize in creating high tech MIDI audio software, and I believe they have the best product out there!
Does the textual content make sense? Is the spelling correct? Would you buy or purchase content from this business or company? The added built-in benefit, is that your SEO will greatly improve as well.
Answer: We've helped many clients get a handle on how they "store and access," all of their images, video, and audio content. We're proud to say that we have saved them a lot of money and time along the way. There are very cost effective solutions that will allow you to store all of your media off site, where it's protected, secure, and accessible.
Answer: "JPEG," also known as "JPG," is excellent for photographs, PNG for images with transparency, and SVG for vector graphics. JPEG or JPG offers good compression for photos while maintaining quality.
PNG preserves image quality and supports transparency.
And SVG is a very scalable type image and it is ideal for logos or illustrations, as it retains it's quality at any size, so there is no pixelation or "fuzziness," when you increase it's size.
Answer: Be sure to use code, (or a website builder,) that employs "grid-based" layouts for consistency. Use visual hierarchy by emphasizing important content with larger sizes, contrasting colors, or placement.
Ensure that your content is organized logically and consistently across different pages. Keep a balance between text, images, and multimedia elements to maintain a clean layout. Do not overload a page with audio and video. Also, you can store, and serve large videos from a CDN, a "Content Delivery Network," or from youTube if you have an account with them. There are other video services like Vimeo as well, which are excellent if you have a lot of video.
! IMPORTANT: Compress all of your images and any audio and/or video files so that they will load quickly. If putting multiple audio or video files on one page, make sure that it is coded correctly, so that there is no more than one audio file playing at once!
Answer: Complex navigation structures, slow-loading elements, inconsistent branding, and poor mobile optimization. Don't overlook accessibility considerations, such as alt text for images and proper heading structures. Regularly update and maintain the website's software to ensure security and performance.
